Augsburg. - Sammelband witg 6 prints on medicine, mostly from print shop of Heinrich Steiner in Augsburg. With numerous woodcuts . From the years 1529-32. Contemp. pigskin over wooden boards with rich figurative blind- and roll tooling as well as 2 brass claps. 4to.

Very nice richly illustrated Sammelband with 6 rare prints. Contains:
I: Regiomontanus, Joh. , Kalendarius New und Volmon .. With 65 figurative woodcuts in the text and several schematic woodcuts in the text. Straßburg, J. Cammerlander 1532. 12 unnumb., 42 Roman numb. ll. - VD 16, M 6542 (only 2 proofs). - Benzing, Bibliogr. Strassb. 1387. - Muller II, 347, 13. - Cf. Zinner, Regiomontanus p. 204. - Not in Houzeau/Lanc., not in Adams and the BM STC. - Rare first edition by Cammerlander. One of the numerous calendar editions by Regiomontanus, which, even though they had not been written by him, were still published under the important name of Johannes Künigsperger (Regiomontanus). Wooducts show figurative constellations, 2 almost fullpage bloodletting figures (rep.) as well as small moon phases.

Contemp. pigskin over wooden boards, richly blind- and rollstamped, 2 brass clasps. 4to. - Partly some staining and browning, here and there waterstained, first leaf loosened, first title with small torn-off at upper margin, rear flying endpaper with contemp. entries. Binding slightly rubbed. In general good and unaltered volume.
