Verso titled and inscribed "BZ 18/11" by a hand other than that of teh artist, as well as with the estate stamp (Lugt 1775 b) and once more inscribed "BZ 18/11" as well as with a label inscribed with information on the work in typography. On thin wove paper (detail paper). 32 x 27 cm (12.5 x 10.6 in), the full sheet. [AW].

• In 1911, the year of this work was made, Macke was one of the founding members of the "Blauer Reiter".
• Harmonious perspective that loses nothing of the spontaneity of the direct observation.
• Works by the Expressionist Macke can be found at, among others, the Museum of Modern Art, New York, the Saint Louis Art Museum and the Museum Ludwig, Cologne.

In good condition. Mounted on cardboard backing. Slightly creased and wavy in the outer margins and with a faint crease in the upper left corner. Slight mount staining. Isolated tiny brown stains and a small black stain in the lower left corner of the sheet.
