• Moving, gestural work with the deliberately "unpainterly" tool of the squeegee.
• In the winter of 1952/53, Götz found the technique and concept that would determine the structure of his paintings from then on.
• K.O. Götz is one of the protagonists of German Informalism.
• Highlights of his artistic career: 1958 participation in the 29th Venice Biennale, 1959 in documenta II in Kassel, 1968 in the 34th Venice Biennale

Good overall impression. With brown stains and browning in the margins and partly extending into the image as well as with minor rubbing and browned creases. A small water stain in the lower left corner.
