Up until the mid 1950s Gerhard Altenbourgh signiert and monogrammed his works with his birth name 'Störch', just as it is the case with this work from 1951. In 1955 he adopted and slightly modified the name of his place of residence Altenburg as pseudonym. From the beginning on his poetic-metaphysic creations are images of a spiritual process. In many cases clear referecne to the title is hard to find.
