This Sintenis bronze had presumably been influenced by Wilhelm Lehmbruck's "Sitzender Jüngling" as well as by the "Sitzenden Jüngling" and the "Campagnahirten" by Hermann Blumenthal (cf. Buhlmann, Renée Sintenis. Werkmonographie der Skulpturen, Darmstadt 1987, p. 83). [DB].
